The nomination was resubmitted with some modifications, in response to the judgements expressed by UNESCO and ICOMOS (official advisory body of UNESCO).
The Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont: Langhe, Roero and Monferrato was recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the 50° italian UNESCI site and the first italian cultural vineyard landscape.
